Mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, it delivers a peak output of 490 hp along with 640 Nm of torque. As a result, it delivers an exhilarating performance. Moreover, this sports car features a 6.2-liter V8 engine which allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and delivers a top speed of 310 km/h. It has an estimated fuel consumption figure of 15.7L/100 km in the city, 8.7L/100km on the highway, and 12.4L/100km combined.

The interior of the 2021 Corvette C8 features a two-seat layout. This time, the cabin is moved up closer to the car’s nose to accommodate the mid-mounted engine. The transmission of this car can be either controlled by a push-button gear selector located on the center console or by using the two-large steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles.

The new Corvette gets a squared-off steering wheel accompanied by a 12.0-inch configurable gauge display. Also, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen system is angled towards the driver that offers ease of use.
